you should add the Estonian word for cheers - it is "terviseks". It means "for health".
I visited your site, and I was very impressed.
Beautiful work! Congratulations.
I enjoy your column. Keep up the good work!
I am a big fan of your Web site. Goodness knows how on earth you keep up with so many topics.
I loved the article on the Elderflower liqueur.
Mr. Dowd:
I enjoy your Web site.
I'm headed for Albany on Friday. I've just started to develop a taste for American whiskeys. ... Better late than never. In truth, I'm not chic. I'm an old guy who just developed a taste. Have always loved scotch. At any rate, I'm headed for the airport to pick up my son from college. I want to stop at a nice liquor store that might have a selection of good whiskeys. In particular, I'd like to try some W.L.Weller. Where should I go?
(Editor's Note: Research conducted, vendor found, bottle reserved for Mr. Farley.)
Am wondering if you know where I can find a bottle of Raynal Cognac. Not brandy. My brother-in-law served in the military during World War II and while in France was served Raynal Cognac. He has tried and tried to find it here in the states to no luck at all. He is now in his 80s and we would love to find him a bottle. Is there anywhere I can look online or even call to see if I can get a bottle sent out?
(Editor's Note: Sent this reply to Barb -- "The Raynal company now markets its line as all brandies, some of them flavored. Both brandy and cognac, as you may know, are products of grapes, so we're not talking a huge difference
between the two, and Raynal is readily available at any well-stocked spirits shop. It comes in VSOP, 5-Yr-Old, 10-Yr-Old and XO distillations. Raynal, by the way, was purchased several years ago by the Scottish firm of William Grant & Sons, although it still makes its brandies in Cognac, France."
